Les Femmes de Montage is the name of a women’s art collaborative, centered in Prescott, Arizona.
The idea was born in 2004, during a conversation between members of a fiber arts group. We were inspired to offer a show and sale of our artistic creations. When one of the members of this group shared the idea with a group of women painters, the two groups merged for this endeavor. Les Femmes de Montage was born! Friends of friends came forward to join us as the group continues to evolve into a unique effort of diversely talented artists.
We are painters, potters, photographers, jewelers, fiber artists, glass artists and more! We are actively employed in Prescott as teachers, counselors, and businesswomen. Our artistic pursuits have developed along the way of our journey as each individual seeks to answer life’s eternal questions. Art becomes a way to weave shadow and light, color and texture as a living metaphor for the fulfilled life.
